What you must not do with Astris, and how anyone can report content or behaviour that breaks these rules.
What you must not do
Section 5.1 of the Terms of Service sets these rules. You must not use the Service, or let anyone use it, to:
- break the law, or host or send illegal content, including material that sexually exploits children;
- infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of others;
- send spam, run phishing pages or distribute malware;
- attack, scan, probe or overload any system or network, including the Service and other customers' applications, or get around the Service's limits, isolation or access controls;
- mine cryptocurrency, run an open proxy or relay, or run a public file-sharing or anonymisation service;
- reach, or try to reach, another customer's applications, databases or data;
- resell the Service as bare hosting without our written consent. Hosting your own product for your own customers is allowed.

Report abuse
Anyone can report, with or without an Astris account. Write to abuse@astris.run and include:
- The exact location of the content, usually its URL.
- Why you believe it is illegal or breaks these rules.
- Your name and email address. You do not need to give them in a report about child sexual abuse material.
- A statement that your report is accurate and made in good faith.
What Astris does with a report
- We confirm that we received your report.
- A person at Astris reviews it and decides what to do.
- Where it is necessary, we restrict the content, the app or the account, in proportion to the problem.
- Where we can, we tell the customer first and give them a reasonable chance to fix the problem.
- We tell you our decision and how to ask us to reconsider it.
