## When it happens

A request asked to delete a storage bucket that still holds objects. Nothing was deleted.

## What to do

Remove the objects from the bucket with your S3 client, then delete the bucket again. See [Storage](/docs/storage).

## What your tools show

- The Astris CLI: `That bucket is not empty. Remove its objects, then try again.`
- The Astris MCP: `This bucket is not empty, so nothing was deleted. Remove its objects first, then try again.`
